ABOUT ME// My name is Yazan Kondakji I am an Urban Planner from Homs, Syria, who graduated from Politecnico di Milano. Since then, I have been working in the city of Milan, the city I consider home. My work primarily revolves around geographical analysis and maintenance of databases using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), specifically in relation to urban greenery and trees. My goal is the creation of a wholistic green system allowing more sustainable urban environments using qualitative and quantitative criteria.

In addition to my work in urban planning, I have a keen interest in 3D design and printing, as well as an interest in plants and their containers. In a way, this interest complements my work in urban planning specifically when it comes to problem solving processes.
